Who Handles Refund Requests?
EventHi is a marketplace platform where event organizers create and manage their own events. Each organizer is responsible for setting their own refund policy and approving refund requests.
To request a refund, please contact the event organizer directly using the contact information listed at the bottom of the event page.
When submitting your request, be sure to include your order details. You can find this information by:
- Logging into your EventHi account and viewing your Order History, or
- Checking the confirmation email you received after your purchase
All refund requests are subject to the specific refund policy established by the event organizer. We strongly recommend reviewing the refund policy listed on the event page before contacting the organizer.
Organizer Response Time
Event organizers are expected to respond to refund requests within five (5) business days.
If you do not receive a response within that timeframe, please contact us at support@eventhi.io, and we will reach out to the organizer on your behalf.
If there is no response or action from the organizer within ten (10) business days, EventHi may issue a refund depending on the circumstances and in accordance with the event’s stated refund policy.
Common Refund Policy Types
Refund policies vary by event and may include:
- No refunds
- Refunds available up to 1 day before the event
- Refunds available up to 3 days before the event
- Refunds available up to 7 days before the event
Please review the specific policy on the event page where your order was placed.
Are EventHi Fees Refundable?
For standard refund requests, EventHi’s fees are not refundable. These fees include the service fee and payment processing fee, which cover transaction processing and platform services.
Canceled or Postponed Events
If an event is canceled or postponed, refunds will be issued for the full purchase amount, including:
- Ticket or sponsorship price
- EventHi service and processing fees
In certain situations, EventHi requires organizer approval before issuing refunds for canceled or postponed events.
If your refund request is denied or you do not receive a response within five (5) business days, your order may qualify for a refund if:
- The event was canceled within the last 30 days, or
- The event has been postponed for more than 60 days without a new date scheduled
EventHi is unable to issue refunds outside of these circumstances. If your order does not qualify, please contact the organizer directly for further assistance.
Duplicate Charges
If you were charged more than once for the same order, you must submit a refund request within seven (7) business days of purchase.
Eligible duplicate charges will be fully refunded, including:
- The full order amount
- EventHi service and processing fees
Refund Processing Timeline
Once the organizer approves your refund, EventHi will process the reimbursement within seven (7) days.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. You will not incur any additional service or processing fees for receiving your refund.
Important Notice
EventHi reserves the right to refuse refund requests that do not meet the qualifications outlined above.
